About Cordyceps
Cordyceps (Chinese caterpillar fungus, Cordyceps sinensis) grows at altitudes above 3,500 metres, especially in Tibet.
The fungus is harvested from April to August, but due to the decreasing occurrence in the wild, it is now very rare.
Over the past 25 years, its occurrence has decreased by 90%, which has increased its value on the market. The best Cordyceps comes from the Tibetan Plateau and can cost up to $100 for four pieces, which is approximately £40 for 0.5 grams.
Cordyceps has been valued for centuries in traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine. Ancient stories tell of yak herders who noticed that animals that grazed on Cordyceps were stronger, healthier and more potent.
In traditional Chinese medicine, it strengthens Yang and the essence of the Kidneys and Yin of the Lungs. Dosage

It is advisable to consult a doctor or Chinese medicine practitioner.
We recommend taking it for 5 days a week and skipping 2 days.
Take the capsules on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals), drink with water or weak green tea.
Dosage is reduced according to age in children.
