Just like you, we want to be absolutely sure that our mushrooms are 100% effective and safe. That's why we subject them to the strictest tests on the market. Not only for harmful substances, but also for active substances such as polysaccharides, beta-glucans, terpenes, etc.
Mushrooms like to absorb all sorts of substances from the environment in which they grow. To ensure that nothing undesirable gets into ours, we continuouslytest them: from harvest, through production to the finished product. You could say we are obsessed with testing.
MycoMedica mushrooms are tested in laboratories in the USA,Ireland, Germany and at the Technical University in Prague. We do not carry out random tests, but thoroughly test all mushroom raw materials in all phases of the process. Top-notch technological equipment searches for more than 350 harmful substances in mushrooms for us. E.g.:
- pesticides - we ensure that our mushrooms are not contaminated with any prohibited or dangerous chemicals used in agriculture.
- heavy metals - we perform analysis for the presence of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic to ensure that their content remains well below safety limits.
- radioactivity - we carefully monitor the content of radioactive isotopes to ensure that our products are completely safe for long-term consumption.
- polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are carcinogenic, can affect foetal development and are associated with cardiovascular diseases.
- microbial contaminants - we monitor the presence of harmful microorganisms including bacteria, moulds and yeasts to ensure the highest possible level of hygiene of our products.
The tests we conduct are much more demanding than those required by legislation. We can attach a report to each individual capsule and tell you exactly where it comes from.

Testing the polysaccharide content in our vital mushrooms is a standard procedure for us, which ensures the highest quality of products. We guarantee a high content of polysaccharides, the most effective component of which are beta-glucans, which are known for their beneficial effects on the immune system. This guarantees that our mushrooms are not only pure but also maximally effective.
