The secret to the success of the ageLOC Galvanic Spa – and youthful-looking skin – lies in our innovative science. The device uses self-adjusting galvanic current, which is usually seen in professional spa equipment. It helps deliver special anti-ageing ingredients to the skin, which can be found in our complementary products.

Simply put, galvanic current is a weak direct current that constantly flows in one direction, as is the case with conventional batteries. The device automatically adjusts the current to the level that corresponds to your skin's needs, and depending on the setting selected, sends either a positive or negative charge. Because our skin is a good conductor of electricity, this low current can pass safely and painlessly through our body and greatly helps in routine skin care.

**The following photos show testing performed on the entire face during an internal experiment conducted on Nu Skin employees, during which the individuals used the ageLOC Galvanic Spa together with ageLOC Facial Gels for five (5) minutes three (3) times a week for four (4) consecutive weeks.
The photos were taken at the beginning, before using the system, and at the end of the study, after 4 weeks of use, to observe visible improvements.
